Zambia – Project design for AusAID

During November 2012 I carried out a project design mission to Zambia for AusAID and the Australia-Africa Partnerships Facility (AAPF), on behalf of Adam Smith International.  The objective was to follow up on an earlier scoping mission to that country, in order to design specific technical assistance projects that could help improve governance over the mining sector.  These projects are to be carried out as part of an AusAID support programme, by AAPF and Cardno.

During a short visit to Zambia along with one colleague, we met with government, private sector and non-governmental organisations and agencies.  A Final Report has been produced, on the basis of which AusAID and AAPF are planning interventions.
